I read the book The sequin star by Belinda Murrell. It is about a teenager named Claire, whose grandmother falls ill. Whilst in her apartment, Claire finds what looked like a cheap brooch owned by her wealthy grandmother.

This brooch allowed her to travel back in time to 1932. She found herself in Orange, New South Wales, at a circus lot. As she stays on with the circus, she starts to wonder who Rosina is. Does Claire know who she is?
