As the new JISE Editor-in-Chief, I am honored to take over the helm from Susan Kruck. I can't thank Susan enough for the time she has spent training me, preparing me, and guiding me for the role. I also want to thank the journal's Senior Advisory Board, Senior Editorial Board, Editorial Board, and reviewers for their kind words, commitment, and continued support. I am taking over a journal that is vibrant and strong, and I'm looking forward to working with each of you!

In this issue, we present eight papers covering a variety of topics and issues. There are two Teaching Tips--the first on cultivating undergraduate IS research and the second on enhancing student engagement through group case study. The manuscripts that follow delve into having a successful IS course at liberal arts institutions, improving the teaching of information security, promoting the IS major to undergraduate students, teaching Business Process Management (BPM) at the graduate level, incorporating game-like experiences (gamification) to improve student engagement and motivation, and understanding student perceptions of technical course content. Enjoy!

And finally, I would like to invite you to join your IS education colleagues at the EDSIG Conference in Wilmington, NC, November 1-4. Submissions by June 15, 2015, are eligible for paper awards and for best paper fast tracking to JISE. …
