The American Psychological Association (APA) claims to be the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States and the world's largest association of psychologists. The site provides links to publications, position papers, and student development issues. Included is PsychCrawler, a search engine, created to provide quick access to content in the field of psychology.

Internet Mental Health is an online encyclopedia of mental health information. The goal of this site is to "improve understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness throughout the world." The site includes information on the 50 most common mental disorders including the American and European descriptions, treatment information, and research on diagnosis and complications. In addition, the site includes information on the 65 most common psychiatric medications. The site includes links to other Internet based literature and sites pertaining to mental health.

National Mental Health Services Knowledge Exchange Network (KEN)

KEN is designed to be a one-stop source of information and resources on prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services for mental illness. The National Center for Mental Health Services developed KEN for users of mental health services, the general public, policy makers, providers, and the media. KEN provides information about mental health via toll-free telephone services, an electronic bulletin board, and publications.
