Sydney 2018 July 8-11 CONASTA 67 Spotlight on Our Future

In 2018, the good ship CONASTA sailed to Sydney, where delegates were treated to an incredible program filled with workshops, social events, eminent keynote speakers and lots of networking opportunities.

The University of Sydney's School of Business was the venue for the conference, with nearly 600 delegates, 50 exhibitors and 11 keynotes, including Australia's Chief Scientist, Dr Alan Finkel, all enjoying the professional development opportunities and great food (and wine).

The theme, 'Spotlight on our future', carried through each aspect of the conference with some amazing exhibitors such as Mindz Brainplay demonstrating some incredible technology to explain neuroscience via the electrical signals coming from your brain; keynote speakers such as Dr Lisa Harvey-Smith from the CSIRO discussing her work on the square kilometre array: building the world's largest telescope; and workshops such as 'Introduction to microscale chemistry' and 'Water in the 21st Century' highly rated by delegates.

CONASTA is always a very social experience and this CONASTA was no exception. …
