This edition of the SAM Advanced Management Journal features a variety of topics with a focus on technology, data, entrepreneurship, crisis management, and management strategy.

In our first article from Harris, a framework for adopting information technology solutions for global teams. The paper shows how the four areas of work environment, technology features, social and technological structures, and cultural collaboration provide a roadmap for researchers and practitioners to adopt the technology.

In our second article, Desai and Raghavan will discuss the expanding role of Big Data in organizational applications. The paper also explores the big data concept from the perspectives of types of applications used in problem-solving and decision making by managers in multiple organizations.
