In the past, consultants were located by word of mouth, yellow pages, or complicated directories. Now, a new Web site, [less than]www.ConsultantsDirectory.Net[greater than], makes the process simple. The site is fast, easy, and free to clients. Over 300 categories covering 20,000 consultants are listed.

There are two ways to find a consultant. A search engine allows users to search word references, or users can start with a general field and continue to narrow down to a specific need. Once a consultant is located, the user clicks on the name, and specific information on the consultant is displayed. The information includes contacts, locations, certifications, references, previous projects, association memberships, awards, and any other special qualifications. The client can then contact the consultant directly.

Clients looking for solutions can also post a project or ask a question by completing a questionnaire. The information is posted, by industry, on a Web page that consultants can view. Registered member consultants can view the listings and select a project. In addition, Consultants Directory will e-mail projects to specific consultants to see if there is an interest. …
