The Weber Morgan Board of Health invites applications for the position of Health Officer.

The Health Officer plans, organizes, and directs public health programs for a two county area, with a population of 200,000 located in northern Utah. He/she will supervise the department's 80 employees and manage a $4.75 million budget. Within the next 3 years, he/she may be involved in the planning and construction of a new Health Department facility.

The candidate must fulfill minimum qualifications in one of the following three categories: (1) M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution, eligible to be licensed to practice medicine in Utah, with a master's degree in public health or its equivalent and 3 years experience in public health; (2) M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution, eligible to be licensed to practice medicine in Utah, one year's graduate work in public health and 5 years experience in public health; (3) a Master of Public Health degree, or related graduate degree, and 5 years experience in public health. …
