ITEA/CATTS has two new publications available. Technology Starters: A Standards-Based Guide is an addendum to Standards for Technological Literacy: Content for the Study of Technology (STL) for grades K-6. It provides standards-based content, activities, and resources for introducing technology content in selected units of instruction. Foundations of Technology: A Standards-Based High School Model Course Guide provides standards-based content, activities, and resources for teaching a cornerstone technology course at the high school level. The information contained in these documents will assist teachers in beginning to implement STL and can be used by state, provincial, and local curriculum developers in creating standards-based curriculum.
