Apr. 19: The Iranian parliamentary (Majlis) runoff elections were held. [4/22 WP]

Apr. 23: Unnamed Western diplomats reported that Iran and Croatia had signed a treaty in December 1995 in which they agreed to exchange Croatian and Iranian military personnel.
