2007 EAIA TOOL TOUR TO WALES AND SHEFFIELD

The 2007 EAIA Tool Tour will take place September 17-27, with an optional extension to the David Stanley tool auction on September 28-29 This year we will explore northern Wales with visits to Erdigg Hall, an eighteenth-century house with restored workshops and machinery; the Telford Aqueduct, the village of Portmeirion, the mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog with the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, the National Museum of Wales' Museum of the North and the Welsh Slate Museum, the seaside resort of Llandudno with its copper mines, and ancient towns and coastal villages. Heading east towards Sheffield, we will see the Bersham Industrial Heritage Center and Iron Works, Quarry Bank Mill, and pass through the Peak District. …
