Carl H Fulda Award for Excellence in the Field of International Law

The Carl H. Fulda Award is presented by the Texas International Law Journal for outstanding achievement in the field of international law. It is given in honor of Carl H. Fulda, Faculty Advisor to the Journal from 1966 to 1975 and former holder of the Hugh Lamar Stone Chair in Civil Law at the University of Texas School of Law.

The Texas International Law Journal is pleased to announce the 2001-2002 recipient of the Carl H. Fulda Award:

JONATHAN PRATTER

Jonathan Pratter obtained his law degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1980 and his Master of Library Studies from the University of Illinois-Champaign in 1985. After graduating from law school, Mr. Pratter served for five years as a public defender in the state of Nebraska. In 1986, he began working for the Tarlton Law Library at the University of Texas School of Law as the Foreign & International Law Librarian. In addition to his substantial library duties, Mr. Pratter teaches an advanced library research class on foreign and international legal resources.

The Texas International Law Journal and its members are extremely grateful to Mr. Pratter for his invaluable assistance in furthering the academic development of international law. …
