Managers Concerned about Wireless Security Dangers

A survey of managers in 320 companies has found that 26% of organisations do not enforce a wireless security policy. In addition, interviews with a panel of 20 Chief Security Officers (CSOs) of large enterprises revealed that they are concerned about what the future holds for securing pervasive wireless technology.

The main concern of managers is not about users accessing a corporate wireless network from within their own buildings. They perceive the real danger to be when users access wireless networks outside their offices and unwittingly connect to ones that are msec me or even malicious
