This Summer edition of the MPAEA Journal of Adult Education offers a broad array of research and field-techniques for the adult educator. Authors are featured from Kansas to Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, and Washington. And the topics and insights are just as diverse.

It all makes for a packed volume of the Journal, with excellent contributions from our colleagues in the field. I hope you enjoy.

This edition of the Journal also marks my last as editor. It has been a flurried five years of learning and trying to contribute. I take pride in helping the many aspiring authors find their way into print. On the down side I am regretful that I was not able to substantially increase the submissions to the journal, and that will remain a major challenge for the new editor.

I am pleased that I will again have the time to write and get back involved into the research arena and look forward to writing for this journal.

I appreciate very much the work of the editorial review board, and the constant support of the Board of Directors of our fine Association.

So with that I encourage you all to take to your keyboards and begin the process of writing that book review, techniques article or molding your research findings into a manuscript for the Journal. …
