Ars Lyrica (ISSN 1043-3848), now published by Brepols, in Belgium (http://www.brepols.net/), has made volume 15 available; volumes 16 and 17 will be published by the end of the year, with volume 18 following by June 2009. Thereafter, they will regularly release an annual issue each June.

Indiana Theory Review (ISSN 0271-8022), announced the establishment of a peerreview process. New editorial board members include Kofi Agawu, Byron Almén, Leslie Blasius, Mark J. Butler, Patricia Hall, Julian Hook, Kevin Korsyn, Harald Krebs, Severine Neff, Frank Samarotto, Peter H. Smith, and Keith Waters. The journal welcomes submissions of articles on all aspects and sub-disciplines of music theory and analysis. All submissions will be subject to blind review by the editorial board (information from John Reef, editor). Submission and contribution guidelines are available in current issues.

Leitmotive: The Wagner Quarterly (ISSN 1097-2358), is published four times a year in Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter (dates vary). This journal is newly expanded after more than twenty years of publishing (Robert S. Fisher, e-mail message to Liza Vick, 3 August 2008). An editorial board has been appointed, consisting of Liese Bauer and Lisa Burkett and the format has changed from that of a newsletter to that of a scholarly journal. The stated purpose is to inform those interested in Wagner's life, works, and influence. Authors and readers include scholars and interested lay persons. Content encompasses contributor information, articles, interviews, performance reviews, comments, and letters to the editor. Submissions are subject to editorial approval and instructions to authors are included in issues.

Muzyka: Russian Music Past and Present (ISSN 1556-9276), began publishing in 2005 as semi-annual, but will now appear annually. Volumes 2 through 4 will appear in one binding in fall 2008.

European Music Directory is now entitled the International Music Directory (as of 2004). Published by K.G. Saur, the directory had its inception in 1999 and focuses on European music trades. …
