This book is a result of experiences and work of two experienced researchers: Prof. Chi Hin Cho from the Universitiy of Hong Kong, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine Department of Pharmacology, in Hong Kong, China; and dr. Excessive alcohol consumption and smoking are among the major risk factors for cancer. Simultaneous indulgence further increases the risk for especially cancers of the upper aerodigestive tract due to the interaction of several metabolic and genetic factors.

Book is divided into nineteen chapters and two distinct parts: first, dealing with the connection of alcohol and cancer; and second dealing with the connection of tobacco and cancer.

The first part of this book addresses in detail the correlations between alcohol and carcinogenicity and the epidemiology of alcohol-related cancers, focusing on specific organs such as the upper aerodigestive tract, liver, colon, pancreas and breast. …
