Nick Nichols: EAIA Emissary

Let me tell you about an EAIA member since 1995 that my husband and I met soon after we moved to Murphy, North Carolina, this past year. His name is Nick Nichols, and he lives in Robbinsville, about 45 minutes from here.

Soon after we had moved in and after a Shavings had come out that announced our new address and phone number, I received a call that led off with a hearty "Hi neighbor. Glad you've moved to this area. Do you have your books set up yet? When can we come and visit"? When he said his name, I recognized it as someone who had purchased books many times in the past.

Nick and his wife KarenAnne arrived arrived about an hour later, Nick armed with his list of possible books to purchase. He had a wonderful time perusing all the bookshelves and bought several books. We have since been to their home, a lovely log house on which he is continually working.
