Today prevention, diagnostics and therapy of stress-related disorders represent one of the greatest challenges in contemporary medicine. Disorders caused by stress are very often interpreted unilaterally or by psychiatric or physical factors which inevitably results in exclusiveness and one-sided interpretation. Thus, the intertwinements of psychological and physical factors which lead to stress-related disorders by joint interaction are very often neglected. In this book the methodology of »Neuropattern« is used to bring into connection mental and physical factors through neuroendocrin mechanisms, or in other words, the brain and body interaction in stressful situations.
