Each year, the AAFCS Student Unit coordinates a service project. It is our way of leveraging the national stage of the Annual Conference to give to the neediest among us. And, AAFCS campus chapters and affiliates are encouraged to participate in the service project on a local level. Past service projects have included collecting items for newborns in need and eyeglasses for the vision-impaired in third-world countries.

In conjunction with this year's 101st AAFCS Annual Conference & Expo in Cleveland, June 24-26, the Student Unit is touching lives on a local level. We are partnering with the Cleveland Food Bank to provide quality, hand-held can openers for Cleveland's kids. …
