This is a collection of papers read at the 1992 and 1993 meetings of the Biblical Greek Language and Linguistics Section of the Society of Biblical Literature. They have been revised here with documentation. The editors are co-chairs of the Section; each has contributed an essay to introduce the papers, which are arranged in two parts. Part 1 deals with problems of Discourse Analysis.
