The 103rd NREA Convention and Research Symposium will be held in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina from October 28-30, 201 1. The location of the meeting is the Westin Hilton Head Resort and Spa. Registration for the NREA Research Symposium is $299, which provides admission to both the Symposium and NREA Convention.

It is critical for those working in and with rural schools to share their successes with others around the country. You are invited to submit a proposal for a presentation at the 103rd Annual Convention. This invitation is extended to you in an effort to assemble outstanding rural education researchers in a forum devoted solely to rural education issues and research. The selection committee looks for proposals that will be of high interest to teachers, administrators, college educators, and department of education officials. Please review the list of presentation strands that could be included in the Symposium. Submission Deadline: August 15, 2011
