This is the first volume in an interesting new series of English translations of twelfth-century theology, devoted to 'exegesis, meology and spirituality from the Abbey of St Victor'. The first four volumes, all said to be in production, are to be devoted to the Trinity and creation, treatises on love, interpretation of the Scriptures, and writings on spiritual life, and will offer for the most part complete translations of major Latin texts, in a few cases extracts, and aim at representing a variety of types of writing.
