The "Read More" tip accompanying this event cites three books about Monet Linnea in Monet's Garden (Christine Bjork), Once Upon a Lily Pad: Froggy Love in Monet's Garden (Joan Sweeney) and A Blue Butterfly: A Story about Claude Monet (Bijou LeTord).

As this example demonstrates, specific bibliographic information listing publisher and year of publication is not given. This omission weakens the book somewhat, although when one takes into account the informal and fast-paced style of the writing, dates and places of publication could get in the way of retrieving the fascinating tidbits of literary lore. From a scholarly perspective, however, it would have been helpful if the publisher/author had included a complete bibliography in an appendix. This would have added more pages to text, though, and no doubt added to the cost.
