The 39 volume of International Journal of Arts and Humanities, published under my editorship comprises ten blind reviewed articles (reviewed by national and international reviewers). The articles/papers cover a vast area in the filed of arts and humanities ranging from War on Terror to Second Language Learning and Gender Issues. Some of the topics are quite new as they focus on hitherto uncharted paths in the field of arts and humanities. The Paper Code-switching in Television Talk Shows and its Impact on Viewers is interesting as the television talk shows have became a near necessity in the country and the talk show host enjoy a near celebrity status, yet this is a quite new phenomenon given the fact that the proliferation of privately-owned TV Channels is a new phenomena in Pakistan.

'Gender Difference and L2 Writing' is again a new topic so far as the Pakistani context is concerned because the issue of gender is considered to be a very sensitive issue in this society. …
