The Spring 2001 issue of the Journal starts Volume 4 for the New England Journal of Entrepreneurship, perhaps inconsequential to some of our readers, but to the editors it is another milestone in our development as our publication continues to evolve. Entrepreneurs are frequently advised that if their new business venture can succeed and remain vital for five years, they are likely to survive and grow for many years ahead. Well, we are in year four and all signs point to a vigorous and expanding Journal for many years to come!

We would like to thank our Editorial Review Board members, the Reviewer Panel, the increasing number of authors who are selecting NEJE to send their manuscripts, and Dr. Benoit Boyer, Dean of the College of Business at Sacred Heart University, for his unwavering support. We would also like to acknowledge the important help we have received from Ms. Lisa Stellato, our Administrative Assistant, who was willing to do whatever it took to get this issue out on time.
