CASE DESCRIPTION

The primary subject matter of this case concerns the opportunities and challenges faced by one of the largest Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) providers, Vonage. Both the internal, external and SWOT analysis from the case help explain where the opportunities and challenges are. The case also selected appropriate business-level strategy by Vonage. Productions offered by Vonage included different calling plans- domestic, international and small business plans. Those plans also have different features such as visual voicemail, 411 calling, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, do not disturb, and many others. The levels of difficulty in this case are4 - senior capstone classes and 5 - first year of graduate classes. The case is designed to be taught in 2 hours, and 4 hours of outside preparations by students.
