CONCEPTS IN MALE HEALTH, PERSPECTIVES ACROSS THE LIFESPAN by JAMES E. LEONE. San Francisco, CA: John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2012, xvi + 462 pp.

Since the book focuses on all ages, the author stresses that these are male issues and should not collectively be referred to as "men's health."

The approach that Leone takes is a combination of the fields of health education, psychology, sociology, and public health. He intersperses medical facts, vignettes for thought and discussion, and various peoples' opinions throughout each chapter, perhaps hoping that the reader will consider all of the information and come to an informed conclusion about the issues presented. …
