Dynamic theatre presentation and workshops were recently used to deliver a diversity and equality training showcase to managers and other staff at the DTI (Department for Trade and Industry) in London.

This is an example of the growing use of improvisational drama and role play techniques in highlighting important issues for managers. This trend was covered in Kat Koppett's article Business and the Art of Improvisation (Manager, September/October 2002, pages 26/27.)

Actors from ImpAct the Huddersfield based drama for training communications company, started the intensive half day programme with a presentation based on 'real-life' accounts of often harrowing, everyday scenes from the workplace.
