Launch of RPS Professional Standards for Public Health

New Professional Standards for Public Health Practice for Pharmacy have been launched by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS), setting out a new best practice framework for the delivery of public health services across all pharmacy settings in England and Wales. These Professional Standards have been developed by a task group led by the RPS and comprise input from pharmacy practitioners and experts in both pharmacy and public health from across the United Kingdom, including the Department of Health, the Faculty of Public Health and the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).
Promotion and protection of health and wellbeing is a key part of the services pharmacy teams provide.
