Is the classic press in a severe crisis generated by the economic crisis, that began in 2008, but whose aftermath is still evident? Without doubt this is true and, more than that, it is evident all over the world. If the mentioned crisis is only conjectural, it hastened some evolutions which had already taken place some years before. First, it is a crisis of confidence and, maybe, one of legitimacy. The concentration of publications, radio and TV stations in the hands of some big groups of media, the mingling of press business with other business and with evident political interests created and then aggravated this process.

Against this background, the upsurge of the electronic press -bloggs, sites of information, debate forums, radio and TV only in the cyberspacewas perceived as an alternative which could be trusted. Nevertheless, it is evident that not all electronic press is of good quality, that autonomy cannot be guaranteed. But, it has the advantage that it requires low costs, it is more trustworthy than the classic press and can have virtually unlimited "circulation". …
