I am pleased to present this special issue of The Arthur Miller Journal. This edition is another milestone in the nine-year history of our publication. This second double issue focuses exclusively on one play: the essays on After the Fall re-consider its place in Miller's canon fifty years after its Lincoln Center premiere. The volume also contains an expanded Performance Review highlighted by criticism of L.A. Theatre Works audio collection of Miller's plays.

This is the final volume before the Arthur Miller Society joins with Penn State University Press to publish the journal. As founding editor, I am thankful to St. Francis College and Regent University for the support that has made the Arthur Miller Journal possible. The alliance with Penn State University Press will assure the continuation of the journal's mission to provide a lasting legacy to Arthur Miller's significant contributions to American drama. …
