It is hard to believe this coming year marks the 20th anniversary of the Arthur Miller Society (1995-2015), for which I had the honor to serve as the inaugural Vice President and second President and now, nearly two decades later, as President again. We have come such a long way from those early days of sitting in a circle deciding how to incorporate to fulfilling the vision of our founder, Steve Centola (1952-2008), of an international group of scholars promoting the study and enjoyment of Miller's artistry with the world!

This year also marks the Miller Centennial, which we will celebrate with three conferences in 2015: the Comparative Drama Conference (CDC), March 26-29, in Baltimore; the ALA in Boston over Memorial weekend; and, of course, the big gala at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, October 16-18, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Miller's birth. Thanks to David Palmer, our new VP, for lining up panels, already approved, for CDC, and to Steve Marino, our Secretary/Treasurer and Arthur Miller Journal Editor, for hosting the Brooklyn extravaganza! (David and Steve are seeking papers for ALA and the Centennial as well as help from the membership to chair sessions.)

Much is brewing in the area of teaching and performance scholarship this year as well. Steve is working with the director Brooke Ciardelli to produce a new version of A View from the Bridge, at the Miller Centenniall. And Enoch Brater is working with Methuen to release two new student handbook volumes on An Enemy of the People and The Ride Down Mt. …
