Editorial Perspective: Transitions

This is my last issue as Executive Editor of the Journal of Professional Counseling: Practice, Theory, and Research (JPC). My experiences with the Journal have been alternately fun, daunting, challenging, and exciting as TCA leadership has continued to work to ensure that the JPC is a quality product in which scholars are proud to display their work.

The new Executive Editor, K. Michelle Hunnicutt Hollenbaugh, has served as Associate Editor and has already begun her term. She will continue to work with authors and with TCA leadership to provide timely and engaging articles that meet the needs of the readership. She will provide excellent leadership for the JPC and is already seeking additional reviewers and working with TCA in a process of continual improvement.

Thanks are due to several individuals who have stepped in to provide assistance with reviewer responsibilities. Stephen Lenz and Joshua Watson, both faculty members at Texas A&M UniversityCorpus Christi, have served as exceptionally able ad hoc reviewers during the last several months. …
