Level 2 Award in Identifying and Controlling Food Allergy Risks - Train the Trainer

An increasing number of individuals suffer adverse reactions every year from the ingestion of allergens in food. This training is for those who intend on delivering the Level 2 Award in Identifying and Controlling Food Allergy Risks to those working in catering environments, employees involved in the selection of menus, recipes and ingredients and for those working in hospitality, leisure, education, health and community care sectors. During the day, we will consider the programme specification, and various options open to trainers in order to provide learners with an understanding of why food allergens need to be controlled and strategies for control.

By the end of the day, potential trainers will have covered the specification themselves in sufficient detail to be able to take the assessment.
