The Bulletin of the Comediantes is completing its sixty-sixth year, and I am completing my sixteenth year as editor. I have felt extremely honored to follow the paths of two outstanding Comedia scholars and two exceptional role models, Professors Everett W. Hesse and James A. Parr. I have had the privilege of working with skilled and gracious managing editors, Professors José Antonio Madrigal and Vincent Martin, and with Professor Thomas O'Connor as book review editor and Professor Gwen Stickney as assistant editor. The editorial advisor)' board members have done an exemplar)' job in reviewing submissions; there would simply be no journal without them. I offer each of these colleagues my most sincere and heartfelt thanks.

After a brief transitional period, I will be turning over the position of editor to Vincent Martin. In the past years, I have depended on him for infinite tasks, and he has been indispensable.
