From the Editors of the "Reviews and Cases of Note" Section of the Journal of Legal Economics

Journal of Legal Economics (Volume 20, Number 1-2, July 2014), Reviews and Cases of Note section, featured an article by Nora Ostrofe that discussed the relative merits of the Vocational Economic Rationale, cited as part of the standard analysis in certain estimates of economic loss conducted by Vocational Economics, Inc. Following the submission and acceptance of Ms. Ostrofe's paper, the Reviews and Cases of Note Editors invited a reply from Vocational Economics, Inc. We are happy that Dr. Joseph Crouse prepared a reply, which appears in this issue.

Although we edited Ms. Ostrofe's article entitled ''Does the Vocational Economic Rationale Have Merit? - An Appraisal,'' as well as Dr. Crouse's reply herein, the Editors take no formal position here with respect to the argument or reply from either author.
