Indian banks have been going through a massive transformation process to cope with the fast changing customer expectations and demand. It is a huge challenge before the Indian banks to cater to the growing needs of Gen Y without disturbing the customer happiness of Gen X and previous generations. To address this, the role of technology is pivotal to make the banks more effective and to expand their reach.The study undertaken by Satchidananda Sogala on "Risk Differentiated Approach to Technology Risk Management of Banks" is quite interesting and will definitely give a direction for technology up-gradation with proper risk management of Indian banks. The paper argues that the technology risk needs to be comprehended in terms of the business impacting potential and must be differentiated in terms of their criticality and magnitude for a better management system.

IT and ITES are distinctly different segment of organisations where in the work schedule, work culture and the approachare sizably different than the traditional organisations. It is extremely important to understand IT professionals' profile, work behaviour etc. to have better performance. The paper titled "Locus of Control vis-a-vis Job Satisfaction - A Study of IT Professionals" by Swaha Bhattacharya and Susweta Acharya has attempted to understand the level of job satisfaction of IT professionals and also relationship between locus of control and the level of job satisfaction. The results have shown interesting findings and will help organisations to identify the probable person-cause of job satisfaction or dissatisfaction especially when the work environment of the employees is same.

Sailesh, in his paper "Buyer Behaviour inCar Purchase -A Study Based on Uttar Pradesh", has focussed to explore and on ceptualise various factors influencing the buying behaviour of the consumers and also has developed a model which influence the purchase patterns of the cars. …
