Hot off the press this past September is volume 6 of the Singer's Musical Theatre Anthology series from Hal Leonard Corporation (HL). By the time you read this review, in addition to book only, all four voicings of books with Audio Access as well as the separate CD accompaniments will be available. As Vocal Editor Richard Walters states in his forward, he has included songs largely from newer musicals along with a few selections from older musicals not yet included in the series. For example, the soprano volume includes three selections from The Bridges of Madison County, two from A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, and two from Ghost, along with "I have a Love" from West Side Story and "That Dirty Old Man" from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, both appearing for the first time in this anthology series. …
