We are pleased to present the twentieth anniversary of the Symposium hosted by the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law. The Symposium traces its roots to 1996, when a few students at Fordham University School of Law aspired to educate members of the business and legal communities through an annual Symposium. In these early years, we were known as the Fordham Finance, Securities & Tax Law Forum. However, we were soon designated one of Fordham University School of Law's honor journals, and to reflect this change, we adopted our current name. Ever since, the Journal has continued to host the Symposium in the spirit of our founding principles.

The Board of Editors for Volume XXI would like to thank the former editors and staff of the Journal. Due to the committed efforts of all of our members, the idea that those students had twenty years ago continues to operate as one of the many wonderful traditions at Fordham University School of Law. …
