I chose to read The Bug Scientists because bugs are the only thing I like to read about! This book was science nonfiction and I learned some new information when I read it. For instance, did you know that some bugs cat the bodies of other dead bugs? You might think that sounds gross, but it's true! If you like reading about stuff like that, then I recommend this book to you!

Professor Tom Turpin is the narrator of this book. Hc tells everyone he knows about bugs. he even makes strange things for his students to eat, like Caterpillar Crunch and fried mealworms. he does these things because he believes that "people learn more when they are having fun." he teaches college students at Purdue University. I think he's right!

I liked this book because some of the things I learned about bugs were surprising. …
