The story all starts on Eddy, the main character's birthday. he thinks he's going to get some really good stuff but he is not too happy when his uncle sends him a really old-fashioned bike with a basket on it. Eddy thinks it's the stupidest bike he ever saw, but then he learns that he can use the bike to travel in time away from Concord, Massachusetts. In fact, he even gets stuck in the middle of nowhere because of the bike. It turns out that Eddy needs to remember that it doesn't matter what things look like because sometimes they turn out to be good even when they look bad.

I thought the story was a little puzzling because it was about two million things all at the same time. …
