Judy Moody Saves the World is a 4-star book! If you like Judy Moody books, then you will like this one, too. It is funny, a little weird, and cool. Judy is really a good person who is just trying, to take care of the earth but she gets in her "mood" because she tries to do it in some strange ways before her teacher finally helps her out. For example, Judy enters a Band-Aid contest with a picture for band-aids that will remind people about recycling but her brother, Stink, wins the contest instead and she only gets a certificate! That starts off her bad mood. Then, Judy gets in trouble because she learns that pencils are made from rainforest trees so she steals all of the third graders pencils! Finally, her teacher gets her class to raise money by collecting bottles so that the money can buy some trees to be planted in Costa Rica and that helps Judy save the world. …
