Hank, the Cowdog is brown. He is tall and smart. You definitely should meet Hank if you haven't already. There are lots of Hank the Cowdog books and this is the 40th one. I haven't read all of them, but I really like the series. There's humor, adventure, mystery, and even friendship in these books. What's not to like?

In this book, Plato (the Bird Dog) is missing. Hank doesn't really care about that very much but Beulah (that's another dog he likes, sort of like a girlfriend) really wants Hank to help find him. So, because Hank is the head of ranch security, he sets out to find Plato. …
