This fantasy book has lots of adventure in it and there's ever a little bit of modern humor in it My favorite line from the book is when one of the main characters asks, "Got milk?" I could just see that commercial in my head! The main character of the book is Howie. Howie is a dachshund puppy who is very important in the adventure. Hc writes stories and ends up being, a hero because he saves the world from a science project gone bad.

I give this book 5 stars and I would recommend it to everyone because it's funny and has lots of adventure in it. It is also mysterious. For example, Peter (one of the boys in the book) makes a potion for a school contest, but the potion ends up spilling and makes a stuffed koala bear come alive. …
