On 18th May Bournemouth University hosted FoodBiz: an event celebrating the best in food research, innovation and partnerships with industry. The day saw both practical demonstrations and research presentations with an international outlook, as presenters came from United Kingdom, France, Austria and Greece.

FoodBiz brought together people from the food and hospitality industry alongside academics to share findings from latest research and take ideas forward within the health, wellbeing, hospitality and food industries.

Honorary Editor Professor Heather Hartwell (Bournemouth University) introduced the journey of food from farm to fork, and participants were kept engaged with hands-on demonstrations from Dr Sean Beer, looking at his PhD research into Dorset's food landscape and unique culinary heritage, and a talk from Mr Lee's Noodles creator Damien Lee about working with Bournemouth University to develop the brand. …
