Tony Hunt's tireless efforts to edit previously unpublished Anglo-Norman medical texts continue apace with a compendium surviving in the mid-fourteenth-century manuscript Cambridge, Trinity College, MS O.2.5 (1109). The work in question opens with a rendering of the pseudo-Hippocratic prognostic text sometimes known as Capsula eburnea. After a series of medical receipts proceeding by body part, it supplies extracts from an Anglo-Norman version of the gynaecological treatise De sinthomatibus mulierum, closing with another set of receipts split into sections on diet, fevers, and urines (amongst others).
