Continuing Success of IAM Students Celebrated at Hong Kong Graduation

SUNDAY, November 9, 2003, saw another highly successful graduation ceremony in Hong Kong. The University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE) has been a strong provider of the IAM programme for some 10 years and this year saw its eighth graduation ceremony for the IAM programme.

This ceremony recognised the success of over 1 50 students at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels. The students received their Certificates from Dominic Wong GBS OBE JP FlnstAM - the international vice-president of the IAM based in Hong Kong, Michael Turner FlnstAM -the lAM's chief examiner representing the IAM Council chairman and Dr Michael Luk -the deputy director of HKU SPACE.

In attendance were the lAM's chief executive, David Woodgate, Ms Jennifer Ng the associate director of HKU SPACE and Mr Sam Law, the acting head of the Division of Accounting at SPACE. The Master of Ceremonies was David Lam FlnstAM-the principle programme director in the Division of Management Studies at SPACE, who has long been the driving force behind the IAM programme in Hong Kong.

David is, once again, to be thanked most heartily for all that he does to promote the IAM and to enable students to follow courses of study that are relevant to their employment. …
