This book is one of the publications of the Environmental Capacity Enhancement Project, which has involved experts and researchers from Canada and thirteen countries in eastern and southern Africa. all were involved in the practical problems of managing ecotourism, agriculture, land-use planning, small-scale mining, and watersheds. Four other volumes of collected papers are planned for use by policy-makers, educators, and activists.
