The name of the main character is Miranda. When the story starts, Miranda is a baby, but by the end of the story, she is a young lady. When she was a baby, Miranda got lost-perhaps someone stole her while her parents were sleeping, but we weren't clear about this-and she was found by an old woman. The old woman treated Miranda very well and she was happy while she was growing up. It turns out that Miranda is the next Queen (when she grows up) but she needs to prove that she can do it.

One day, as Miranda and her animal friends were out riding, they were stopped by a troll. The troll demanded the horse as a toll for crossing the bridge. …
