Jesus Cos Causse-Afro-Cuban Poet

Jesus Cos Causse was born on October 15, 1945 in Santiago de Cuba, where he received his primary and secondary education. He began his studies in Agronomy at the Institute of Agronomy in Havana. However, as a result of his passion for writing and the arts he left the Institute before completing his studies, to devote himself to literature and the promotion of Afro-Cuban culture. He currently works as a journalist and is the assistant Director of International Relations for Casa del Caribe, and the Vice President of the Union of Cuban Writers and Artists (UNEAC) in Santiago de Cuba.
