Psychiatry is a wild thing. Etiology of a specific psychiatric disorder is usually elucidated by both neurobiological aspect of mental disorders in coexistence with psychological characteristics and loadings of a person, often held also on the groundings of a destablized social surroundings. That is why psychiatry very often includes many diciplines in the solvation or support through a specific mental state or illness. Very often, psychiatrics are the (only) clinitians examining the human in a holistic way.

Biological aspect of psychiatry is the one responsible for the acceptance of the psychiatric disorders as illnesses, and the one clearly pointing out to the locus minoris resistentiae in the mental functioning of a person. In opposite, psychotherapeutic aspect of psychiatry finds psychiatric disorders to be the consequence of disrupted intra- and inter-peronal functioing of a person and uses psychological methods to help a person change and overcome problems in desired ways. …
